The wait is almost over! EAT Cafe will officially open for business on Wednesday, October 26th! We hope you'll join us for our Grand Opening. We are having a Press Conference and Ribbon Cutting at 11:00am (followed by a light reception), and dinner service will begin at 4:30pm. EAT Cafe will operate Wednesdays through Sundays from 4:30pm-8:00pm. We can't wait to welcome Everyone At the Table :)

EAT Cafe Community Open House!

Join us on Friday, October 14th from 4:30pm-6:30pm for our Community Open House! Come get a preview of EAT Cafe before we open for business! Take a tour the space, talk with the Cafe Manager and staff, and learn more about our pay-what-you-can model. Snacks and refreshments will be served! EAT Cafe's Community Open House is in conjunction with Lancaster Avenue's Second Friday, so be sure to check out what else Lancaster Ave has to offer while you're out. 

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome! Let us know if you plan to attend! RSVPs are recommended (but not required) so we have an idea of how much food to make. RSVP here.

EAT Cafe Manager Donnell Jones-Craven will be co-creating the menu and co-cooking the meal at this month's Dornsife Center Community Dinner! This month's meal is Italian cuisine: lasagna, meatballs, Greco-Roman salad, garlic bread, amaretti cookies, and cheesecake. He is doing this in partnership with Drexel University School of Hospitality and Sports Management Executive Chef Richard V. Pepino. Come by to get a taste of what's going to be served at EAT Café! The Dornsife Center's Community Dinner is a free monthly meal in which all community members are welcomed to attend, share a meal, get to know one another, and learn about community events and projects.
