Volunteer Appreciation: Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service 2019
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?"
Volunteers donated there time on an extremely cold day to help the EAT Café provide lunch to volunteers at Drexel University's, Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships and to help spruce up our restaurant. We could not have completed this project without the assistance of: Cara and Sandy from Drexel University's Lindy Center for Civic Engagement, students from Drexel and Temple University, and many generous individuals from the greater Philadelphia community.
Thank you to everyone that made our first annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service project a huge success!
